Jurassic Park has been a popular franchise since the dinosaur revival action series launched its first Speilberg-helmed entry in 1993. From that first entry, the series evolved into a trilogy, which then evolved into another, more epic, trilogy that starred Chris Pratt through each one, versus the alternating cast between the first three Jurassic Park movies. The most recent Jurassic Park movie, Jurassic World: Dominion, was released earlier this year and ended the second trilogy, and possibly the franchise overall, at least for a while. With the most recent release being the sum up to the entire saga up to this point, many may want to refresh themselves with the original Jurassic Park movies, the first two Jurassic World movies, just Jurassic World: Dominion, or perhaps the entire franchise. Below, we’ve detailed where to stream every Jurassic Park movie, so luckily, you can watch whatever movie from the franchise you please.
Where to Stream Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park, the first title in the franchise, based on a book of the same name, was released in 1993 and featured the origins of the dinosaur theme park that has gone awry in every Jurassic Park movie. Jurassic Park introduced audiences to the park itself, the behind-the-scenes work of the genetic scientists that made it happen, and their secrets and mistakes. Surprisingly, the original Jurassic Park movies have been the easiest to locate in terms of where to stream every Jurassic Park movie, as the original trilogy can be found on HBO Max and Peacock. While many may not have HBO Max, a cable subscription can access Peacock with the premium tier.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
The second Jurassic Park movie, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, was also based on a book before it was printed and followed the continued misfortunes of the islands on which the Jurassic Park theme parks were located and committed experiments. Overall, The Lost World: Jurassic Park took place four years after the events of the first film and followed Jeff Goldblum from his role in Jurassic Park, but this time around, he was with a team that was sent to retrieve information about the dinosaurs that still inhabit it, even with the park shut down. Beyond that, the team came into conflict with a team led by InGen as they attempted to take the dinosaurs off the island and to America. Much like the original Jurassic Park movie, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, the most confusing title in the franchise, has also been available on HBO Max and Peacock. Although confusing in terms of the title, The Lost World: Jurassic Park may not be the least attractive out of streaming every Jurassic Park movie. The events of the second film in the Jurassic Park franchise were still nothing compared to the original movie.
Jurassic Park III
The final movie in the original Jurassic Park trilogy, simply titled Jurassic Park III, steered away from the character portrayed by Jeff Goldblum, the chaos theorist, and moved on to an archaeologist that was tricked by a couple to find their son, lost on the island from the previous movie. Characters from the first movie make a second appearance as well, so anyone interested in how to catch up in the various Jurassic Park movies from the original trilogy simply needs Peacock or HBO Max. However, Peacock, as the core streaming service of Universal, has an exclusive version of a movie from the second trilogy that just might entice fans more. Out of every Jurassic Park movie, streaming Jurassic Park III may be the most interesting with its storyline and overall wrap-up of the original Jurassic Park trilogy.
Where to Stream Jurassic World
Jurassic World, the first movie in the second Jurassic Park trilogy, led by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, premiered in 2015, 14 years, as a soft reboot, after the last entry in the franchise with Jurassic Park III. Unlike every Jurassic Park movie in the original trilogy, Jurassic World can’t be found on HBO Max or Peacock, as the streaming rights can currently be found at Fox. Jurassic World can be viewed on FXM or the FXMovie channel, or if you have the Hulu Live option, you can access them via the on-demand or respective menus.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom once again followed Chris Pratt’s character from the first Jurassic World movie, except instead of being employed by the island’s theme park like in the first movie, he went there on a rescue mission. Like The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Chris Pratt’s character was tasked with saving the dinosaurs from an impending volcanic eruption when he came into contact with a group as they attempted to bring dinosaurs to America. Like Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom can be found on FXM and accessed with a cable subscription or Hulu Live. Out of streaming every Jurassic Park movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was possibly the least impressive.
Jurassic World: Dominion
The final release in not only the Jurassic Park franchise to date, but also the final Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Dominion, the 2022 finale to the epic story once again featured Chris Pratt, but this time around, the dinosaurs from the events of the second Jurassic World movie were roaming around the world and living mostly natural lives, outside of human interaction. Out of every Jurassic Park movie, streaming Jurassic World: Dominion has been the top topic of the entire franchise. Likely, as the movie was released this year, and some liked it enough to want to see it again or simply missed it, they may want to take advantage of streaming all or the newest Jurassic Park movie as it’s available to stream exclusively on Peacock but also has extended scenes.
