Drama comes in all shapes and sizes, and in Texas, the biggest drama comes from the littlest of women. We saw it all last season in Lifetime’s Little Women: Dallas. Five women–Caylea Woodbury, Tiffani Chance, Bri Barlup, Amanda Loy, Asta Young, and Emily Fernandez–live life to the fullest as friends in Dallas, Texas. We saw all the challenges they had to overcome as little people and we also saw the celebrations and triumphs they all shared. We were witnesses to all the fun, the laughter, and of course, the drama.
When we got news that the show has been renewed for a second season, we couldn’t help but think of how the first season ended. We saw Emily’s mini bar venture along with LA’s Terra Jole end up in complete disaster, splitting the girls up completely. Tiffani got a proposal though, so it didn’t all end terribly. The recently released trailer shows the girls back in action, as they take on the big world yet again.
Youngest member Caylea is now teaming up with Emily and Bri. The tiniest twerker we know seems to be getting a proposal of her own this season from her boyfriend. What does Caylea think? We’ll more than likely find out in the first few episodes of the next season, but first, it looks like she’ll be heading up some sort of a mud fight between a couple other little women.
After Tiffani’s roller coaster first season with a breast cancer scare and a crazy relationship with her 6 footer boyfriend, who actually proposed last season also, Tiffani might be in for an even wilder ride coming this fall. On the other hand, we saw Bri in the trailer having a photo shoot with only full body paint on. She looked great, by the way. Bri is still best friends with Emily, whom we didn’t really see much of in the trailer.
One of the most interesting parts of the trailer was probably the quick exchange between Asta and Amanda. These two best friends shared an intimate talk regarding Amanda’s decision to get breast surgery. We heard Asta asking her friend if she was ready to undergo such a procedure. From the looks of it in the trailer, Amanda is indeed ready as we see her go into surgery. Whether this happens or not, we’ll find out when the season premieres. In addition to this story for Amanda, we also saw her in what seems like a date with another woman. We heard her say that she’s never done something like that officially, so it’ll be interesting to see how that turns out.
This coming season looks like it’s going to be another round of colorful laughter and thrilling adventures for these women. We’re hoping the girls patch things up quickly though, as we’d like to see them all get along. It seems like there will be a few life-changing events happening for these women soon. Season 2 of Little Women: Dallas is set to air on October 4 at 8 p.m., so stay tuned.
