17. Erin Hardesty- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)

In 2003, there was a remake of the 1974 version of ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’. Scott Kosar rewrote the movie and Marcus Nispel directed. Jessica Biel took on the renamed lead role of Erin Hardesty. Although there are slightly different elements to the storyline, the plot is almost the same as in the original. Others who starred in this movie include Jonathan Tucker, Erica Leerhsen, Mike Vogel, Eric Balfour, and R. Lee Ermey. On a budget of just $9 million, this movie made just over $107 million. It also led to the release of a prequel movie which was released in 2006.
