The Hidden One is out for blood in tomorrow’s episode of Sleepy Hollow as he targets the Witnesses in his conquest to create his version of a better world. Defeating a demon or monster is easy once you figure out its weaknesses, but how does one figure out the weaknesses of a god? Do gods even have weaknesses to begin with?
In the sneak peek clip below, the Hidden One storms into the archives and uses his powers to lift and strangle Ichabod. Abbie seeks out the one person that was against them from the very start as a last resort to save her fellow Witness from the Hidden One’s wrath: Pandora. I have a feeling that the sorceress would much rather see the Witnesses suffer as her husband destroys them than help them fight against him. Though from what I have observed from the interactions between Pandora and her undead husband, that the former is not exactly treated as an equal by the Hidden One aside from the fact that they’re husband and wife.
Then again, Pandora would do anything for her husband (she even gave him most of her powers when she failed to retrieve the Anubis Stone from the Witnesses) and wouldn’t turn against him whether she wants to or not. The Hidden One better start treating his wife better instead of belittling her for her failures every time like a master does to his minions. I would be very shocked if Pandora decides to help Abbie save Ichabod from certain death and use whatever powers she has left against her beloved husband.
Tomorrow’s episode will also have Jenny and Joe trying to keep their relationship afloat. Joe’s still agonizing over the fact that he still has the Wendigo within him despite Jenny’s consoling words that he’s the one in control, not the Wendigo. Looks like Pandora’s not the only one who’s having some trouble in paradise. I really hope that Jenny and Joe can work things out between them, I would hate to see them break up over the fact that Joe thinks that he’s a monster.
