It’s been over a week now and there’s rampant speculation that Donald Trump is going to do a near complete overhaul of some major staff members in his administration. The biggest name to surface is none other than Steven Bannon who many think is trying to completely rearrange the United States government and the way it runs. However, as a number of “policies” Bannon has tried to force on the American people have been shot down by Judges across the country. Even Donald Trump is starting to realize he might be doing more harm than good for the country not to mention the present administration. If Trump’s most recent quote isn’t any indication of his waning patience, I don’t know what is:
“I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late. I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve. I’m my own strategist and it wasn’t like I was going to change strategies because I was facing crooked Hillary … Steve is a good guy, but I told [he and Jared Kushner] to straighten it out or I will.”
This quote comes after numerous reports that Bannon and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner have been endlessly fighting. Trump apparently had to “referee” the two at one point. According to Uproxx
Bannon failed to get along with Kushner, and Trump may have been jealous at how his chief strategist began to attract attention in the form of spurred national protests about a supposed “President Bannon” running the show. Whether or not the supposed cause of the split is true, Bannon is likely on the way out. The question remains, however, will Breitbart retaliate, as predicted, with “open warfare”? We shall see…
My gut tells me Bannon is out the door. Trump’s ego is WAY too big to handle someone else getting all the attention not to mention speculation that he’s the real wizard behind the green curtain. We’ll keep you posted.
