So everyone’s kind of bummed that Shadowhunters won’t be returning until June for the second half of its 2nd season. But perhaps this time off is a good thing. Why? I think it gives the show a few more months to pick up a larger audience. Now that The Vampire Diaries is over, perhaps some of those fans will move over and give Shadowhunters a try. Look, I know one show is about Vampires and the other is about Angels and Demons but come on people. We’re talking Supernatural stuff, a beautiful lead in Katherine McNamara, and having to hunt the bad guys.
Call this is Buffy the Vampire Slayer but not Vampires and a Supernatural twist of Angels? Honestly it’s extremely hard to characterize. But I will say this about the show. They’re beasts on social media and are doing the right things. Fans can rest assure that they’re not going to be left hanging until June. Their twitter account has regular updates including this little GIF that they posted only a couple days ago.
Looks like Clary Fray is getting ready for June.
