Just like I started a “feature film idea” column on this site, this marks the debut of our “reality TV show idea” column where whenever I have the idea for a reality show, it’s going to go right here. The reason it’s being documented on this site is so that if I ever see my idea actually come to fruition, I’m going to sue the hell out of the network that steals it and try to cash in so I can retire. This is a solid idea, don’t you think?
So let’s get into my first reality TV show idea. It’s called “Little League” and the idea stems from the show Friday Night Tykes. Just like people are fascinated by the insanity that is Pee-Wee football, why not have a show that documents all the crazy fathers of Little League baseball around the United States? Do you realize how insane some of these guys are? The fights that ensue? The pressure they put on their children to win?
I’m pretty sure there would be a huge audience for this show. You heard it here first: “Little League.”
