We’re All Ready for Classic Larry David in “Curb Your Enthusiasm” Trailer

The new “Curb Your Enthusiasm” trailer is out and Larry David is back and he’s as funny as ever. Nothing has changed and that’s exactly the way fans want it. The sneak peek of what we can expect opens with him attempting to tie his sneakers and one of the laces breaks in the worst possible spot. Murphy’s law is fully in force. Based on the trailer, here are some of the hilarious situations we can expect to see.

Irreverence in the courtroom

The quick glance we’re given in the courtroom scene is evidence that Larry David is as straightforward as ever. This guy speaks his mind regardless of where he is. He’ll readily argue with a judge and then sit in the audience section of a courtroom and tell a crying woman to “shut up,” and he doesn’t care who hears him. He knows how to get the attention of everyone in a room, but he’s not really trying. What does he need to do the be funny? Nothing! Just being himself is quite enough for amused onlookers.

Larry tackles constipation issues

When an office worker takes two days in sick leave, Larry can’t resist the urge to bore in and find out the reason. She discloses that she was constipated, but with Larry, this was the wrong thing to say. This leads to a long ration of examples showing her that you can still accomplish amazing things while being constipated and it’s no reason to miss work. You really need to watch what you say around him or you could become the next topic of his rant.

He makes physical abuse humorous

Who shoves a woman in a shopping mall? Larry David does. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn’t be funny, but because it is him, he can get away with it. A woman rushes up to him to make a pitch. His knee jerk reaction is the best part of the entire scene. It happens fast as she rushes up to him and he instinctively gives her a hard shove that knocks her out of the view of the camera, and it is hilarious.

In your face and on your case

Yes, Larry is back and he knows just how obnoxious and offensive he can be. He tells his doctor that anytime he wants to stop seeing him as a patient, all he needs to do is say the word and he’s gone. While on its own this might not seem funny, but the trailer immediately cuts to a montage of clips showing people telling him to leave, and there are quite a few of them. The winner of this string of funny evictions is the bus scene. It shows a commuter bus pulling to the curb, the door opening and two big guys throwing Larry to the curb. The lady bus driver has had enough and she tells him if she ever sees him on her bus again, she’s going to “f*** him up.” Yes, he’s back and although he’s the same old Larry.
