Young and the Restless fans know that there are so many men on this show. There are just as many women, but it seems that this year there are more men than women who are trying to get their way and make their mark on the world of Genoa City — and we like it. We like to see them in this situation, and we like to see them in the middle of what can only be described as the best years of their lives. Some of the men here are not the ones who have been around for decades and years, but they’ve been here long enough for us to decide that they do make the hottest men of 2018. And that’s something we cannot get enough of. Who is your pick for the hottest?
Michael Mealor
Kyle is quickly becoming one of our favorite men in Genoa City. He’s a wreck in every situation he’s in, but he’s fun. He’s got a quick sense of humor, he’s a little bit fun, and he’s dark. And we like that. But he’s still a young man finding himself, and we love watching it. We are enjoying all that he is able to give us in terms of his humor and his personality, and that makes it all the more interesting to watch him grow and learn on the show. He’s brought us some of the best memories this year, and nothing seems to beat watching him try so hard to get Lola to fall for him. In some ways, he is like a young boy who just has too much to choose from, but he’s growing up and trying to become a man who has power and prestige. He is not quite there yet, but he will one day take over his own little version of the world. And we appreciate that. For now, we love him, and we love what he’s bringing to the table.
Jordi Vilasuso
Can we talk about Rey? He came into Genoa City and he’s become something of a force. He’s not a man anyone knew about until just a few months ago, but he’s managed to change the lives of every woman in the city. For one, Sharon is so into him she cannot get even enough. And then there is the fact that he’s got Nikki and Victoria so upset sand worried about their future and what happened with JT, and his wife, Mia, who showed up a few months after he did, refuses to divorce him because she’s just not done with him yet. And that’s a bad combination for these women. They need to get it together, but they cannot seem to make that happen. They are all a mess, and it’s quickly becoming one of those things that we love more than anything else. They are not ending their year on a good note with Rey around here, and we are all excited about that in so many ways. He’s going to change the game in so many ways, and that makes him one of the hottest men of the year.
Daniel Goddard
We’ve got one of those love hate relationships with Cane. We love him in every way possible, but we also hate him sometimes because of his reactions and the way he handles his situations without just sitting down and taking the honest and responsible approach. However, we do feel a little bit excited about the things that he is bringing to the table this year, and we cannot help but feel that he will make things different, exciting, and a bit more intriguing as the new year is here. He is mourning so much of his life right now with his wife in jail and his kids mourning the loss of them, and he has more trouble coming his way than he knows with his son, but things will work out for him — he’s a good man at the core of all of it. But we also think that there is a great chance he will continue to impress us in the near year, and we are just sitting over here so excited about every single moment of that. Bring it on.
