The highly anticipated Gazebo Festival, spearheaded by Jack Harlow
in Louisville, Kentucky, has been unfortunately canceled. The second day of the event was cut short due to severe weather conditions, leading to a series of impacts on fans and local businesses.
Why the festival was canceled
Organizers made the difficult decision after assessing the risk posed by an impending second wave of storms. As Jack Harlow himself announced, Well, we have to cancel day two of Gazebo. We are currently on a tornado watch… This means everyone on day two, including myself, won’t be performing anymore.
Refund procedures for attendees
The cancellation has led to full refunds for Sunday ticket holders, while those with weekend passes will receive fifty percent back. The comprehensive refund policy ensures that fans are compensated fairly:
A full refund of both Rental Fee and Security Deposit shall be made for cancellations received at least fourteen (14) days prior to the date of rental.
Impact on Louisville and its people
The sudden cancellation has left fans disheartened and local businesses feeling the economic impact. Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg shared his thoughts: Jack Harlow is an extraordinary Louisvillian who continues to give back to his hometown… I can’t wait to see the excitement this festival creates.
A Glimpse into Day One
The first day of Gazebo started with a bang featuring performances from artists like SZA, Vince Staples, Majid Jordan, Larry June, Raven Lenae, and Jordan Ward. Despite its abrupt ending, the event highlighted some vibrant moments before everything came to a halt.
