While we probably won’t see another trailer for Spiderman: Homecoming until at least may, that hasn’t stopped the Chinese film industry from beginning their marketing campaign. Below you’ll find a verified photograph from Spiderman’s Chinese Instagram account. You have to admit that this “poster” is indeed strange. It’s not often that a poster for a film is not only animated but looks like an original work you’d see on the website Deviant Art.
When I look at this photo the term “fanart” immediately comes to mind. It’s nice to see Peter Parker running towards a school bus with his Spider-Man costume hanging out of his backpack but wouldn’t this have been 100 times better if we saw it in live action? According to Comic Book
It’s doubtful that this will be released in North America, but who knows what Marvel Studios has planned for Spider-Man: Homecoming’s marketing campaign
