Spouse House is a new 10-episode reality series involving 14 strangers — seven women and seven men — from Chicago who are left to live under one roof for a period of eight weeks. The romantic series cites this arrangement as a way to help each of the individuals to find The One (a spouse).Viewers have an exclusive peek view of the activities going on inside the house. Although the clip often shows few couples finding their love, a significant number of them are forced out broken hearted.
Each episode follows a handful of hopeful contestants as they introduce themselves to each other through various activities. The two relationships experts: Christine Hassler and Dr. Isaiah Pickens pairs up the couples and guides each of them on how to find a perfect match. Matched individuals are allowed to grow their relationships and attends the engagement ceremony where discuss with them about the growing relationship and prospects of a proposal or a wedding.
The participants have opportunities to strengthen their relationships and get to know each other better inside the accelerated environment simply by taking part in various activities.
At the end of every episode, however, there is an engagement ceremony. In case no one proposes at all, two people are evicted from the house to make space available for new eligible singles. Meanwhile, the group session is held after some time to build and evaluate compatibility between couples and build conflict resolution skills. The session is also meant for encouraging the suitors to show their vulnerabilities and inner thoughts. The couples whose relationships end up into marriages continue living in the house like newlyweds and keep on interacting with the remaining single individuals and receiving advice and tips from the experts.

Ashley P, 26 — she has been in a number of relationships each spanning at least three months. She cites her short attention span as the challenge to maintaining a long relationship.
Brianne, 28 — she has had quite many short flings and three long-term relationships. At least she is certain that The One she will get in the house will be her eventual husband. She holds a degree in communication from Iowa State University.
Ashley D, 30 — she is seeking someone with a passion for working out, kind, liberal and creative. Other than being a fitness fanatic, she has been volunteering in local shelters many times. She holds a double major in public relations and marketing from Loyola University.
Kelli Jo, 33 — a flight attendant with four failed relationships under her belt. She claims to have discovered a fixer for men. We are going to see which one.
Yesnaya, 28 — a full-time student and a mother of an eight-year-old bubbly son. She has been cheated on in a number of relationships.
Toyya, 36 — a psychology graduate from the University of Tennessee and now works as a probation officer.
Missy, 39 — she is an Athletics Training graduate from Oakland University. She has an enviable career in sports medicine.
Danny, 29 — has had a lot of short-term relationships as well. He holds a Business and Marketing degree from Grand Canyon University.
Chris, 33 — an adolescent therapist and alumni of the University of Illinois.
Albert, 40 — an entrepreneur with a flourishing career in Psychology. He is also an MBA holder and a father of three.
Tom, 36 — a health administrator from Northern Illinois University. He enjoys boating and biking.
Jimmy, 34 — a communications Arts degree holder from the University of South Florida. Has been previously married
Darren, 29 — he’s really adventurous and earned a pilot license at barely 17 years. He has been previously married as well.
Jonathan, 42 — he is looking for a woman who can also a best friend. His parents have been married for 45 years. He is looking to doing the same.
