It seems like we’ve just gotten an invitation to the next royal wedding of the decade, Prince Harry’s and Meghan Markle’s. If there were a fairytale story we’d like to follow, it would be the story of these two. It wasn’t too long ago when we were all shocked and soon after gushed about the news that Prince Harry has finally found a love. It also just happened to be one of our favorite actresses on TV. Since then, we’ve followed their love story like little teenage girls, and it looks like we’ll be able to follow it straight to the altar. NBC has announced that it will give us exactly what we’re looking for: a chance to get a glimpse into the wedding of Harry and Meghan.
NBC will be giving an hour-long special that will be all about their romance and relationship. The special will also give a viewers a chance to see the location of where the wedding will be held–the Windsor Castle–and hear stories from the couple’s close family and friends. We will hear from personal accounts how the couple met and fell in love and how their relationship bloomed to be one of the most inspiring stories we’ve heard in recent years.
We’ll see some archival wedding footage that has never been seen before. As per wedding traditions, we’ll also get insights on Meghan’s lovely wedding gown, the most guarded cake in the history of all cakes, the décor, flowers, and more. We’ll also see some of the places that the couple has traveled to within the time of their courtship and hear from the people that have inspired them to become the person that they are. No other two people could have had such different upbringings, yet somehow, they found each other amid all the usual chaos of life and the world.
We’ve seen Prince Harry grow up on the spotlight. We saw him when his beloved mother passed away. We saw him as he grew into his bad boy prince image. We saw him as he matured into his place in society. We also saw him as his brother found love and married. We saw him, as he became an uncle. And we most certainly saw him when he fell in love for the last time. On the other hand, we didn’t know much about Meghan other than the fact that she was a brilliant actress in one of the smartest shows on TV, Suits. Before Suits, we only saw Meghan in guest appearances in various TV series. She wasn’t a big timer nor was she a regular on pop news. Nowadays, her name is everywhere.
There’s no better hope than the hope for love to last forever, and the world is certainly wishing that and more for Prince Harry and Meghan. They represent as much idealism and romanticism this world can handle. Tune in on Wednesday, May 16 at 10 PM to become a witness to the love of these two.
