Just as fans get ready to go see Batman v Superman, which hits theaters tonight, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer for its other upcoming Batman film, The Lego Batman Movie. And judging by this two-minute trailer, this movie looks to be a lot of fun, as Will Arnett reprising his role as Batman from 2013’s The Lego Movie and is now front and center as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
So what exactly is The Lego Batman Movie about? It’s unclear from what we get in this first trailer what Batman’s mission will be in the film, but we do know that it will boast that same style of humor that was found in The Lego Movie, as Arnett’s Batman goes from explaining how he meticulously put together this trailer to show some but not not all of his best moments from the movie before he “drops the mic.”
Then, of course, we get to see Batman when he arrives back at the Batcave after fighting crime alongside Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and the rest of the Justice League. He casually puts on his robe before reheating the Lobster Thermidor that Alfred had left for him in the fridge.
“I deserve this today,” Batman says before taking a bite. “Today, I deserve this.”
The Lego Batman Movie hits theaters on February 10, 2017. Check out the trailer below:
