Where to start? Let me stop laughing first so I can actually hit the keys in the right order and then we’ll get going. Okay, let’s get to it. First off, funny, funny, and hilariously funny. John Oliver goes off on a rant that goes full frontal and then spins to the side then spins to the other side and then does a severe pivot before dashing ahead again. And then we do it all again as he continues to lambaste Trump and North Korea alike.
You would think the guy would be exhausted at some point but somehow he still has the breath to keep going, which is fortunate.
Yes, Trump seems to speak a lot without really understanding his own words. He’s kind of like the schoolyard bully that’s still trying to act tough even when he runs out of things to say. At that point he’s just kind of winging it and obviously hoping that everything comes out sounding alright. Just listening to him on these short clips within the video would make a lot of people, as Americans, wince due to the fact that he sounds like a petulant 10-year old trying to look tough in front of the adults. In truth he seems to have no real idea of what’s going on or what he needs to do.
Maybe it’s time for another round of golf so he can ignore a few more of America’s issues.
In the meantime, North Korea doesn’t seem to be doing much better considering that their government is feeding them lies such as Americans are, or at least were, into cannibalism during the Korean War, not to mention torture. While it might have been true that torture was involved, eating the flesh from a live person seems a little gruesome, even for a history museum, and is most definitely something to chalk up to propaganda at its finest, or worst, you decide.
Plus, their leader seriously looks like he just hit puberty no matter how old he is. With that failed bowl cut and the round, chubby cheeks he looks like the fat kid in class that always got picked on and all of sudden is in a position of power with nuclear warheads that he’s just itching to use. And to make that even worse he’s already said that his missiles could possibly reach the US in a short amount of time but at the moment he’s just “testing” them. Even worse, Trump is still acting like a schoolyard punk, yes I said it, and telling North Korea that “Fire and Fury” will be the result if they decide to attempt anything.
Oy. I mean it, seriously, oy.
It’s hard to know who’s worse really, the guy that’s telling his country that all Americans are on the same par as cannibalistic devils, or the guy that runs our country playing the chest-bumping game while promising to nuke the same country that’s making a not so subtle hint that they could easily nuke us.
Yeah, the guy leading our country is really daring North Korea, or so it seems.
