So a best friend came out to me as non-binary. And I said “I’m really glad you trust me enough to tell me. That’s cool” Was that supportive and what else should I do for her?

Yes, you were supportive. I don’t think you should do anything extra, but let them know that you can help them with whatever if they ask.
