Firefly lasted one full season between the years 2002 and 2003 and to this day remains one of the biggest cult classic TV shows of the 21st century. If you haven’t heard of the show or don’t know its plot it goes something like this: Five hundred years in the future, a renegade crew aboard a small spacecraft tries to survive as they travel the unknown parts of the galaxy and evade warring factions as well as authority agents out to get them.
What’s so fascinating about this show is not only how it was ahead of its time but the star power that was on it. Nearly every single cast member is highly successful today and fans always wonder what it would have been like if the show could have gone on. While the likelihood of a Firefly reboot with the same cast members is slim to none, fans still hope that Firefly finds its way back onto the air.
