General Hospital’s Best Female Villains

General Hospital’s Best Female Villains

General Hospital fans know that sometimes people are more than a little crazy and insane, and that’s what we love about them. The villains on this show are some of the best in the business, and they have been keeping us entertained and amused for years at a time. It’s been fantastic, and we want to see more of that. We want to see more of them handling us the way they were meant to, and we always want to pay tribute to some of the best female villains of all time. Some of these ladies are the most talented, most creative, most awful characters on television; and we love them. Do you agree with our favorite GH female villains of all time?

Lucy Coe

She’s among the most fantastically awful women to grace our screens, and we love her for that. She’s got some serious issues that just don’t make us feel good about who she is as a person, but we also love the fact that she’s such a disaster. She’s someone we love to hate in every manner of speaking, and she’s been able to take some of the most crazy and questionable storylines of all time and turn them into something amazing. She’s given us so much more than we ever hoped to see, and we love her for that. She’s been one of the meanest, the baddest, and the most manipulative women on television. She’s taken husbands. She’s taken children. And then she became someone we all loved and wanted to have in our lives. How the show did that and took her from awful to amazing is beyond us, but we love her for it.

Ava Jerome

She’s another villain we all love to hate. She’s got her whole life ahead of her, but she cannot get it together in the least. She’s awful, she’s terrible, and she’s the most horrible person we’ve ever met. She’s all kinds of crazy, and we love her. What we love about her is that she’s evolving. Her evil ways have started to have an effect on her, and she seems to really regret some of her choices. It’s like she wants to be a good person, but her inner evil is like, “Um, no, not today, Ava,” and then she moves on from that to something else entirely. She’s a disaster, and she’s not going to get much out of herself before she continues to make disastrous decisions in her life.

She’s slept with her own daughter’s boyfriend more than one time. She then made him crazy by giving him the wrong medication on purpose. And then she had the audacity to watch him die as a result. She’s currently upset with her daughter for doing the same thing to her — sleeping with her boyfriend — and she cannot trust anyone in her life at this point. She’s a mess, and we love her.

Nelle

Oh, Nelle. She was a short-lived character who came to see the people of Port Charles for a staggering two years only. In that time, she managed to convince Sonny he slept with her even though he did not. That was right on the heels of the death of his son, Morgan, after Ava switched his meds and killed him, and Carly could not handle it. She left him and went back to her own ex. They fought, there were problems, they all figured out it was Nelle, who was already sleeping with their son, Michael, at this point.

And then she got pregnant, she managed to convince the world that Carly pushed her pregnant self down a flight of stairs, had her locked up and medicated, tried to get Michael to commit to her, further turned Joss against her mother and Sonny, and then tried to kill Michael when she began to suspect he knew the truth about her. In her final act of malice, she made certain she was able to give her baby with Michael to Brad in exchange for his dead baby so that everyone thinks Michael’s baby is dead — when he’s not. And that’s just a small taste of what this villain managed in two years. She was amazing.
