What a time to be alive.
Because life sometimes surprises us in a nice way, Archive.org, the internet archiving library that has helped us relive the past for years, is now in the process of adding all 285 issues of Nintendo Power magazine to the website.
That’s 285, full-color, full-nostalgia issues that are available to view in their entirety for the low, low price of absolutely free. On the website, you have the option of downloading the issues or viewing them online, so it’s more convenient than ever to view one of the premier magazines from video game history. These issues also contain the original comics that were featured in the magazine, and those alone are enough to warrant a look at the archive.
The upload process isn’t complete, so we don’t know exactly when all of the issues will be uploaded. There are also conflicting reports on just how many issues are currently available (I can see 145 as of this writing, but others claim to see more or less than that), so I can’t say for certain how much you’ll be able to see just yet. Either way, though, if you’re up for a rush of nostalgia, you should definitely check out the archive.
