Game of Thrones The Touring Exhibition to Debut in Barcelona Spain

Coming this October Game of Thrones is going to be appearing in the Museum Maritim in Barcelona, Spain to showcase the many wonders of Westeros and Essos. This is going to be a limited engagement that will allow fans of the popular HBO show to experience GoT like never before. Thanks to HBO, Global Licensing, and GES this exhibition will be coming to Barcelona very soon for the viewing pleasure of anyone that’s interested in learning just what GoT is all about.

The exhibit will be a 10,000 square foot interactive wonderland that is inspired by anything and everything that is possible to pull from the show. It will allow fans the chance to actually feel like they are in Westeros as they get to look at the props, costumes, and set decorations from the show. Tickets are available at this time but it’s recommended that anyone interested in this event hurry because they won’t be likely to last that long.

Just imagine how awesome it will be to walk through the worlds of Westeros and Essos as you brush up on the feeling of GoT by immersing yourself in the interactive experience.  A lot of people have been itching for a chance like this ever since the show came out, and now they can have it.

There will be several themed areas that are based on the unique settings of Westeros and will each feature their own set of props, costumes, and other characteristics as seen in the show. They will include:

The North

People can enter the wintry landscapes that evoke images of Winterfell and the Wall to the far north, where the Night’s Watch is stationed and Castle Black stands resolute.

The Kingsroad

Despite not being featured as much lately it is still an iconic location that will feature the tree-lined pathway that people can look upon.

Meereen

You will be able to look upon the legion of Unsullied that faithfully serve their queen and were instrumental in Daenerys’s rise to power.

King’s Landing

Here people can see how both the royalty and the common folk live, and can take in the great disparity between the two. A person can even look in on the Iron Throne to gaze upon the seat of power that so many covet and only one can have.

It makes sense to bring this once in a lifetime event to Barcelona as Spain has already hosted GoT so many times and offered up some of the greatest settings for the most epic moments. It also helps that HBO Espana was just recently launched in this country, as it will help to promote the exhibit and bring more and more people in.
