1. She Grew Up in Four Different Countries
With her most formative years being split between Cote D’Ivoire and England, Nkechi could develop her keen sense for performance and acting in the Oxford Youth Theatre. While many would consider this type of upbringing, unstable, it has served to create a high level of diversity and creativity in Nkechi, who also fluently speaks two languages.
2. Her Short Films Opened the Door to Hollywood
Nkechi’s love for the arts led to her creating several short films that have been featured in film festivals on multiple continents including Africa, Europe, and North America. The success of her short films caught the attention of certain executives in Hollywood, which opened the door for Nkechi to leave her career as a senior trader and analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank to take on several different roles primarily at Fox, but her work has on all the major networks.
3. She Served as An Executive Story Editor for the “Bones” Series
It did not take long for Nkechi’s excellent writing skills to secure an elevated post within the Fox complex structure of creativity. She not only served as the executive story editor for Bones (2012-20150, but she has also taken on the role of story and show creator, which opens, even more, possibilities in the future. She has already proven that she has the capacity to create, write and direct short films, so it is not a stretch to expect her to be behind the camera at some point in the future.
4. She Produced the Rosewood Series
For all of you Morris Chestnut fans, you can thank Nkechi for the shows that appeared between 2015 and 2017. Her writing ability, creativity, and cultural diversity afford her a keen insight into the best ways to present a story to a targeted audience. While Chestnut has become a favorite of the ladies, the show itself is so much more – giving a sense of flair to the world of forensic investigation.
5. She Has Mastered More than Film
Nkechi holds a Master’s degree in International Economics that she earned at New York University. As mentioned earlier she has held a highly functional financial position at one of the most prestigious banks in the world – the Federal Reserve Bank. It is likely that this young rising genius will not have too much difficulty funding any new creative ideas that she has in the future.
