Just who exactly is Neri Oxman, aside from being the woman who has been seen lately with Brad Pitt? Both she and Pitt claim that they no absolutely no romantic interest in each other, but they have been spending a lot of time together, in what they describe as a friendship that developed out of common professional interests. That might cause you to think that Oxman is an actress, but simply isn’t the case. Instead, their friendship seems to have formed from interests that Pitt has in old buildings. She has been an architect for a number of years, and has received a number of awards for her rather unique building designs. In fact, before she became a professor in 2010, designing buildings was how she spent the majority of her time.
3. She immigrated to America
She has lived in America for a very long time, but she wasn’t born here. The truth is, she was born in Israel, and lived there for a time before she and her parents made the decision to move to the United States.
4. She likes to combine real-world architecture with intellectual theory
Since she is both an architect and a professor, she enjoys it when she has the opportunity to study something unique that is devoted to the subject. In fact, she even created a group at MIT that exists just for studying such things. For the most part, she and her students study the relationship between architecture and nature, looking for ways to incorporate new buildings into the environment while creating a smaller environmental footprint.
5. Architecture runs in her family
She came by her love for building things quite naturally. Both of her parents were also architects, which helped her develop a love for the business, not to mention helping her learn as much as possible about the subject before she was even old enough to start carving her own path.
While nobody knows if she and Pitt will ever get together romantically, people do like to speculate. For now, Pitt is just finalizing a very public divorce and Oxman has repeatedly stated that she is romantically involved with someone else. Whatever the case may be, no one really knows whether or not either one of them has any desire to take their relationship to the next level. As is usually the case, only time will tell.
