Jessa Seewald is a television personality who was born in Tontitown, Arkansas, on November 4, 1992. She is the fifth child of 19 children born to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. She became well-known for being a member of the cast in ’19 Kids and Counting’, a reality show on TLC about the Duggar family. This show was formerly called ’17 Kids and Counting’ and ’18 Kids and Counting’. The name changed when more children were born in the Duggar Household. 1. She is Married to Ben Seewald
Jessa met Ben Seewald in 2013 at the church they both attended. The pair were friends who talked for months before they embarked on a relationship. The officially began courting in September 2013 and got engaged in August 2014. The couple tied the knot on November 1, 2014, and they now have two sons together. Spurgeon Elliot was born on November 5, 2015, and he was followed by his brother Henry Wilberforce on February 6, 2017.
2. Jessa and Her Siblings Have Names That Follow a Theme
In the Duggar family, there are nine girls and ten boys. All Jessa’s siblings have names that follow a theme as they all begin with the letter ‘J’. From oldest to youngest, the children of the family are Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace, and Josie. The oldest son of the family, Josh, has followed a similar theme with his children by giving them names that begin with the letter ‘M’. In addition to being a television personality, Jessa Seewald has also co-written a book. The book ‘Growing Up Duggar’ was co-written by Jessa and her sisters Jill, Jinger, and Jana. 4. She Once Ate a Full Pineapple to Bring on Labor
When she was expecting her first son, Spurgeon, Jessa was so keen for her baby to be born that she ate a full pineapple in an attempt to bring on labor. This is an old wives’ tale that many people test out during their pregnancy. Jessa used her Instagram account to let her social media followers know that she was still pregnant but was trying everything to encourage the birth of her baby.
5. Her Favorite Pastimes are Football and Traveling
Jessa enjoys many different activities in her leisure time, but two of the things she is most passionate about is traveling and football. She regularly posts on social media sites telling fans about where she is traveling to next and about her experiences in different locations.
