Do you watch The 100, a rather interesting television show on the CW? It’s a post apocalyptic series that has about as much action as any Hollywood Blockbuster you could ever imagine all while having some very deep and long running storylines that arc through several seasons. Sometimes, it’s hard to know who’s really on the side of right when you’re watching the show. About the time you think you have it figured out, you realize that you were wrong the entire time. That’s exactly why so many fans love the show, because it keeps them guessing constantly and they have to stay on their toes if they want to follow the storyline. Below are five of the most intense scenes concerning season five, along with YouTube clips for each one. Go ahead and check it out for yourself. Just don’t be surprised if you end up feeling the need to spend an entire weekend binge watching the show in order to catch up.
1. The Meeting
This is an intense scene, to say the least. In it, Madi and Bellamy meet but there’s so much more going on that it’s hard to catch it all if you only watch the scene once. For one thing, this is where Bellamy learns that Clarke is dead. Upon hearing about it, she literally freezes in her tracks, not knowing what to do or say. If you’re really paying attention, you’ll also notice that the only reason that Madi recognizes her is because of Clarke’s drawings. Otherwise, the two might have never met, but instead simply moved right past each other.
2. Be Careful Who You Put Your Trust In
This is the scene where Bellamy decides that it’s time to poison Octavia. You might say that this decision has been coming for quite some time and here, you finally see Bellamy do it. Clearly, she believes she has justifiable reasons for doing so but you can’t argue the fact that it definitely ratchets up the drama in the series, to say the least.
3. A Matter of Life and Death
This is not just a clip from a single scene, but rather all of the deaths that occur throughout the entire season on the show. If you plan on watching it, be prepared for a lot of people to die and don’t be surprised if some of your favorite characters don’t make it until the end of the season. If you just can’t wait because you can’t stand the suspense, go ahead and click on the link. 4. Saving Octavia
It’s almost ironic. In one clip, you have Bellamy poisoning Octavia and in this clip, you have Echo and Madi saving her. You might find it hard to keep up if you miss even a single episode. In reality, it can sometimes prove difficult to keep up with this show if you even so much as walk out of the room to grab something to drink or snack on without hitting the pause button. This is definitely one that requires you to be present throughout the entire thing, so unless you want to end up confused about what’s going on, it might be time to start watching those episodes when you’re not multitasking.
5. So Much Rage
Here, you get to see why Bellamy might have been so determined to poison Octavia in the first place. By the time you’re finished watching the clip, you’re probably going to be wondering why Echo and Madi had any desire to save her in the first place. She goes on a killing spree of epic proportions, letting out feelings of rage that would scare even the meanest of individuals. She’s definitely a force to be reckoned with here, and not in a good way. Once you see this scene, you’ll probably be thinking that she should have been poisoned, too.
