To this day Terminator 2: Judgment Day goes down as one of the best action films of all-time. The technology was way ahead of its time and James Cameron proved yet again that he was ahead of the curve in Hollywood. Clearly Terminator was just the beginning for Cameron and who knows what he’s up to with the new Avatar films but I’m sure it’s incredible. Why do we bring up this classic film?
Because it’s been beautifully celebrated and masterfully recreated in GTA V. Yes, recreated as in nearly the entire movie. The incredible recreation by Krammer’s Media nails all of the edge-of-your-seat actions scenes, especially the truck chase sequence from the 1991 film. To be honest I’m not sure what Krammer’s Media does with their time since this is a major project but someone needs to hire these guys pretty quickly.
The video itself is about an hour because any scene other than an action scene is edited out. The video is also done by a Russian filmmaker, so the dialogue is in both English and Russian, but don’t worry about it, assuming you’ve seen the film it doesn’t matter at all.
