Not all dresses are created equal! I’m not talking just about the style, fabric, and cut, though. Quality is something that rarely happens by accident; it’s a slow, methodical process that takes patience, creativity, sleepless nights (hello, coffee, my old friend!), and countless revisions. Creating a fabulous dress takes time and effort: you can’t call something a dress if you randomly slap together some bits of fabric.
Incidentally, that’s what one dress-shaming Facebook group is called. The ‘You can’t just slap some fabric together and call it a dress’ community calls out bizarre, hilarious, and just plain awkward-looking ‘dresses’ for the sake of entertainment and educating people about what good style definitely isn’t.
