Days of Our Lives fan are not sure that Marlena was not expecting all that Victor had to say to her. When he dropped that bombshell, we thought for a second that there might be a very small chance that she already had an idea about all he had to say. She’s not a stupid woman, and she’s not usually one who is easily surprised by much. This means we think there is a chance she was able to get some information from him that might not make sense to him, but we think that she’s on the lookout now for things that might work in her benefit. She’s a woman who has to go out of her own way to make things work, and this is going to be one of those times in her life when she has to play her cards just right to get the results she’s hoping to get.
Rex came to Sarah with a proposal. He wants something for her and their future together, and he has it all laid out. But she came back to him with a very surprising reaction. We are not all that certain that there was a chance for her to make her mind differently, but we do think there was a good chance that she saw this coming. Meanwhile, we are not all that surprised considering the fact that she’s been having some very erotic dreams about Eric lately. He is not a man who is always that emotionally available, but he seems to have gotten to her in a way that makes her feel tha they could have a future. He’s still stuck on Nicole, but we suppose that Rex did kind of cheat on Sarah. She’s not winning no matter what she does in this situation.

Things kind of took a backseat to the breaking news that was on earlier in the week, and now we are all in the middle of seeing things work out a day later. It’s fine though. Ben is going to break Ciara’s heart. He’s convinced that he is not fine and that he will not be okay, and he will end up hurting her as a result. He is not in a good place right now, and it’s showing. He’s not going to be able to keep his situation under control much longer, and she will be crushed. She’s not worried that he will ever hurt her other than the fact that he broke her heart. She’s not worried about his killer instincts or his personality in any way otherwise. She’s just sad he would do this to her, and she’s not sure he is really putting himself first in any capacity.
But, for now, we get to see things work out for him in another way. It might not be today, but it will be eventually. Tripp is going to find something that he’s not sure is good news in Claire’s jewelry box, too. He is not sure what to make of it other than to feel worried that whatever it is happens to be bad news. There is little that they can do other than sit back and relax knowing that so many things that are going on here are bad news. He will confront her about it, though, and that will cause some big problems in some ways that we don’t know.
