Days of Our Lives fans know things will always turn out interestingly for others, but what about those who aren’t living their best lives yet the best things in life are happening to them at the moment? Jennifer is finally able to say she has her husband back in her life, but he’s not really back. He’s there, and he’s certainly not dead, but he’s not back if that makes any sense. He’s alive after all these years, but he has no memory of who she is or who their family is, and he has no idea how to handle that kind of situation. Things are not good for her in any way, but that’s not the point right now. The point right now is that Victor has decided that no matter what Brady goes through, he can ask him anything he wants — and get it. He has no concept of anyone ever telling him now.
So when he approached Brady yesterday and asked him what he did, he had no doubt in his mind that the man would fully agree to this with him. He is, after all, a man who is good at getting precisely what he wants in his life and not having any issues with that at all. He does what he wants, he makes things work in his favor alone, and he’s not going to stop at anything to get his way. He’s a man well-versed in making sure people are there to do as he pleases, and that is something he will never take for granted. However, we also think that there is so much that might change Brady’s mind and make him aware of the fact that some things will just never change. And he might say no eventually, but not at this moment.

Eric is not a happy man. Not only did the past week end with him in the arms of Sarah after she heard Rex tell her something that virtually crushed her, this was the first time since losing Nicole he’s even felt remotely good about his own life. He’s not been making wise decisions, he’s not been in a good place, and he’s not been able to do anything that works for him in a way that is healthy. And that’s a problem for everyone. However, he’s now in the middle of what might be the worst feeling he’s had in a while after her learned that Sarah has betrayed him. They were just in the best place, but now he’s learned something that has him feeling awful, horrible, and very much like a no good situation is at hand. He’s upset and unhappy, and we do not blame him at all.
And then there is Kayla, who has no good news for Jennifer. As a doctor, it’s her job to see what she can do to help her patients. Unfortunately, she’s not able to do much of anything for Jack. She has to break that news to Jennifer, who will not take it well at all. She’s in a bad place in her own life, and it appears that things will not get any better for her in the near future. She’s upset, she’s sad, and she’s at risk of making decisions that might just cloud her judgement in a way that isn’t good for her now.
