Days of Our Lives fans know that Gabi’s friends and family worked hard to save her life. She was taken by the commissioner when she intercepted some evidence that her brother sent to Rafe at the police department. It turns out that things weren’t as they seemed in this situation. It wasn’t Abe who was in the middle of working on the illegal games with Dario. It was Commissioner Raines. This explains so much about what happened to Abigail. She was working with Raines to figure out what her own husband was doing — which meant she was putting herself and her husband in the line of fire.
Now Gabi got to experience a little of Raines’ issues, too. There was nothing that would go well for her in this situation, but Rafe, Hope, and Eli all knew something was going on and they were able to save her. But what we want to know is whether or not she can keep herself out of trouble from this point forward. She’s not someone one who seems to do well unless she’s in trouble, and that’s bad news for her.
She — hopefully — learned a lesson or two in this situation. She isn’t someone who can just go out of her way with the people who aren’t doing good things. She’s not going to do anything that might put her in jeopardy from this point forward….we think. She’s got to take some time out of her own life to focus on the things that are good for her, and that’s not something that comes easily to her.
