Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Lani and Eli Bond

Days of Our Lives fans know that Lani is in a lot of pain. When it was discovered by Snake that she was a cop undercover trying to take him down, he forced her to take an exceptionally large amount of a very dangerous drug. She was smart enough to realize she needed to vomit as much of it up as she could, but she’s still very sick and in desperate pain. JJ has been by her side the entire time, and he’s been making sure she’s all right. He cares for her, but things aren’t going his way at the moment. He’s got a lot on his plate trying to care for her and trying to make sure she lives at the same time he’s working to capture Snake. But things are about to take a very interesting turn.

It turns out that Eli is going to stop by the hospital to pay a visit to Lani. They work together, so it only makes sense he would. But he’s going to be so upset to see her in this situation, he might just decide to stick around to see how things play out with her. Is there a love connection there? We hear that he might try to spend some more time with her, and that JJ and Gabi are going to be completely taken by surprise to find out that he seems to want to spend so much time with her. But we can’t help but wonder if his grandmother’s words are sticking with him.

She doesn’t care for Gabi at all despite the fact that Eli seems to like her. At the end of the day, we assume he will do whatever makes his grandmother happy; and that’s not continuing to pursue a relationship with Gabi. Will he trade her in for Lani, who has her own dramatic life to live, or will he eventually move on and find someone else to spend time with? He’s got a thing for women who seem to need some trouble in their lives to move on, and we think this might end up being just another dangerous situation for him. We can’t help but worry — and he probably should, too.
