Days of Our Lives fans know Abigail is not going to come back if someone doesn’t do something to help her as quickly as possible. She’s being overtaken by her alter ego, and she can’t get her personality to get through over Gabby’s. And the bad news is that Gabby is more powerful than Abby, and she’s just told Stefan she does have feelings for him that are very real. He, of course, has the same feelings for her. She’s not going to stop at anything to get what she wants, and that’s to take over this body for good.
So now we fear that whatever Stefan was considering before is no longer a consideration. What doe she care if the brother he hates loses his wife to him? She’s not really fighting him off or working on her new personality in his mind, so it all works out for him. However, there is a chance he might just feel bad for the little boy that will lose his mother.
We aren’t sure Gabby will care much to be a mother to a child she doesn’t really have. He and Chad are Abigail’s problem, and they are not her problem. So this might just be the catalyst that allows him to actually let go of Gabby and help her the way he should. But that’s all dependent on Chad and on this entire situation in Hong Kong. He’s not accustomed to not getting what he wants, but that’s his future.
