Days of Our Lives fans want to know what might happen when Eli finally makes a decision. He’s spending a lot of time right now with Lani. This is kind of shocking to anyone who knows him considering he’s never spent much time with her before. Sure, they’re friendly. Sure, they’ve spent time together. Sure, he should go see her to make sure she’s all right after she as overdosed by a drug Lord in an effort to take him down. She didn’t realize her cover was blown, and she did all she could to save her own life. She’s working hard to be sure she can get out of this mess alive, and he’s right there for her. But what is going to happen to them?
She’s got a history with JJ, but Eli is a new character for her to fall for. She’s got some serious bonding to do with Eli right now, and it doesn’t seem to matter to her how this makes JJ feel. What we really want to know is what they are thinking with their decision. Eli is seeing Gabi, and he’s never shown much interest in Lani before. It seems strange and very unexpected to us, and that means there is a lot more to this story than we might imagine. Remember when Lani was announced as the woman with whom JJ had a very fleeting night with? That came out a long time ago, and we have a feeling that something might have a future with Eli.
We know that his grandmother doesn’t care much for Gabi, and there is a big problem there. This might be enough to drive them apart, and it might be all it takes to have JJ and Lani end what hasn’t even really begun at this point. Will Eli fall for Lani, or will they remain friends? And what might Gabi think when this happens? Will she be all right with this going on, or will she have a feeling things aren’t looking good for her? She’s got a history with men she can’t exactly have, as we all know.
