On Monday’s Days of Our Lives, it seems that there will be a major announcement from Ciara. She is in a bad place right now, and not everyone knows what has happened to her. Her mother knows, and she opened up to Kayla about it on Friday when Kayla confessed to Hope that Steve did not kill Ava, that Joey did. The two women cried together and bonded over the fact that their poor kids are going through something so awful and they cannot do anything to help them. Ciara was raped by Chase. He was supposed to be her stepbrother, and he had feelings for her, but she did not return those feelings. Knowing he had some issues he needed to work on, Chase did not get the help he so desperately needed in time, and he forced himself on Ciara. She’s been pretending she is just fine with everything and that she’s all right, but she is not. Her mother caught her with a half empty bottle of tequila on Friday.
Now she’s opening up about her rape and what happened with Chase, and she is probably not going to be shy anymore about letting everyone know. The question is whether or not anyone will believe it happened. Sadly, it seems that many people do not believe women when they admit to being raped, and we hope that this is not true for the teenager. In other news, Steve is about to get himself in some serious trouble as he prepares to cross state lines with Rafe in an effort to save John and Paul from their kidnapper, John’s father. He’s violating his parole, and we think that Kayla knows what he is up to. He received a 911 text from her on Friday, but we do not know if he will respond to that text on Monday or if he will ignore it and assume that she will try and stop him if she knows what it is he is up to.
What’s going to happen with Eduardo and Dario? Dario is not happy with his father, and admitted to him on Friday he wished the bullet that he took had killed him. What will this do to Rafe and to Gabi and to their family? He’s been around for a while now, but his family is only just now finding out he is back in town, making us wonder if there is more to this story than meets the eye. Monday is destined to be a very sad, very emotional episode of Days with Ciara opening up about her rape, and one that you probably do not want to miss.
