Days of Our Lives is taking a scary turn this week as we see the aftermath of the explosion that rocked the city straight to the core. The Bomb Squad is on the move, and they are looking for evidence and anything that might tell them whether or not there were any survivors. If we are being honest here, they don’t think that there are any survivors. It would be near impossible to find a body intact in the mess that was made when that bomb went off. The good news, though, is that Hope and Rafe are alive. Hope is badly injured and she’s fighting for her life, but Rafe is doing everything he can to get her to safety. He’s got her under the city in the secret tunnels, and he’s doing what he can to save her life. He’s worried.
Meanwhile, Andre tells Aiden that he’s killed Hope and Rafe, and Aiden is devastated. What will happen here? Will Aiden try to get back at Andre, or does he have hope that Hope is still alive? And what about Hope’s daughter? Will anyone tell her what is going on? She’s had the worst year so far of anyone on the show, and it seems that she’s got to find a way to catch a break. We are hoping that Hope will come out of this without much more damage to her own body, but we don’t know if that’s going to be the case. She is critical, and she’s being cared for by a man with a severe injury to his leg.
In other news, Brady and Theresa are in Las Vegas, and they have found Summer. What they have to say to her might make her come back to Salem and make amends, but it also might make her think twice about coming back into town and making anything right. She’s scared, and it seems that seeing people she’s trying to hide from might make her even more worried about her own future. We just don’t know what will happen in this case, but we have to hope for the best.
