Days of Our Lives Deaths That Still Haunt Us

Days of Our Lives fans know two things above all else. A death can be one of the most devastating and heartbreaking situations on television, and there is always a chance that a death is never final. It turns out that many people are going to wonder if there is a small chance that there might be some love given to those around them, and we do wonder if there is a chance that there might be a little more love given to the people in the lives of others. We have to ask ourselves if there is a chance that some deaths are more devastating because of who it is, or because it seems so much more final? We might not have a precise answer, but we do know there are some deaths that have affected us a lot more than others.

E.J. DiMera

We won’t lie here. There is a good chance he is not really dead, and we wonder that all the time. However, it’s one of the saddest deaths in the history of the show. He’s one of those characters that makes us all want him to come back and show us that he is still here and still ready to have a good time. He’s been one of those people who makes us feel good, who makes us mad, and who makes us question everything. His death hit home, and fans really do miss him. He’s been gone since 2014, but we always hope he will come back. The simple fact that Sami keeps coming back time and time again makes us think that we might have a small chance to see him reappear again and again.

Bo Brady

Why is it that he had to die just as he came back? He was gone and everyone missed him so much, and then he came back. Everyone was thrilled to see his face, and we all hoped there was a chance that he might come back for good, but then he died. His death seemed a bit more final than many of the deaths that we get to see on television. His death was caused by his health, which is always a more final sentence than seeing someone blow up or go missing. Fans realized in the moment that there is no way he will be back in the future. Thankfully, we at least got to see Hope find some happiness with a nice man like Rafe.

Lexie Carver

We don’t really understand what happened here. She was more than two decades into the show. We’d been seeing her face since the late 80s, and then suddenly she was gone. It was 2012 when she was fine one day and the next she was given weeks to live because she had some serious brain tumors no one really understood. It was an ugly moment that no one could figure out, and we still aren’t sure what is happening in her life. She’s had some moments that don’t really work well for us in the grand scheme of things, but she was overall a good person who made fans happy. She had a good situation as one of those people who was able to be good and bad at the same time.

Stefano DiMera

He’s a villain through and through, and he never died no matter how many times he died. However, there was a sadness to fans when he finally did say his final goodbye. He will not be back as the actor who portrayed the role for so many years passed away in 2016. Joseph Mascolo was an icon in this role, and his death left his coworkers and fans feeling sad and upset. His deaths on television never felt final or even all that upsetting as he always showed back up a year or two later with a tale about how his death did not really happen and he was alive and well. But it turns out that he was really dead in the end. It was a sad moment for fans being that he really did die in real life, and that upset fans in a way that many people felt themselves.
