Are we sick of fidget spinners yet? While I wouldn’t say we’re on the decline yet, I’d say by summer’s end fidget spinners are going to have to start getting old. I mean how much further can we possibly push this fad? Looks like the latest in the fidget spinning world is the making of giant spinners as well as themed ones. According to Mashable:
YouTuber A Pyro Design realized that if you print a series of sequential images on the arms of a spinner and let it fly, you end up with a miniature zoetrope, a staple of old-timey penny arcades the world over. The result? A convincing “running Mario” animation plays as the spinner spins. Maybe you love fidget spinners. Maybe you want them all to die in a fire. Wherever you fall with this fad, this is still a nifty thing (and yes, you can totally buy one on Etsy).
