Plenty of people are familiar with Mike Tyson’s part in The Hangover. In fact one of the cast members, a giant Tiger, is the pet of Mike Tyson in that film. But did you know that in real life Mike Tyson actually had a lion? Yup. During his prime fighting days when he was worth north of $300 million, Tyson had all kinds of crazy stuff. Why do I bring up Mike Tyson’s lion? Because one of the greatest storytellers who ever lived, Charlie Murphy, told an incredible story about Mike Tyson’s lion.
As we continue to celebrate the life of the late Charlie Murphy, more and more bits and pieces of his career are surfacing. Perhaps none are as entertaining as this animated story Charlie gives about the former Heavyweight champion of the world. I assume you already thought Mike Tyson was crazy but after you listen to Murphy’s portrayal of this whole thing, crazy doesn’t even begin to describe Tyson. RIP Charlie Murphy.
