Bones: David Boreanaz Will Be Returning to TV This Fall

Bones’ fans have been in mourning for the last few months. The popular FOX drama aired its final episode after making viewers laugh and cry for 12 seasons. Much of Bones success can be attributed to the excellent chemistry between its co-stars. Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, who played Temperance “Bones” Brennan and Seeley Booth, formed a strong friendship off screen that showed through on every episode of the classic series.

When David Boreanaz was interviewed recently for “Entertainment Weekly,” he was not sure how quickly he would make a return to TV. Lucky for fans of Bones, he will be back on our screens this Fall. The actor will be part of the new CBS series SEAL Team. According to writer Ben Cavell the show, “follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan, and execute the most dangerous missions.” Ban Cavell’s past work includes Justified and Homeland.

The series will also star Jassica Pare, A.J. Buckley, Toni Trucks, and Max Thieriot. Fans will get a better glimpse of where SEAL Team will land on the Fall lineup when CBS unveils its TV schedule at Up Fronts next week.

CBS has greenlit several other series. Shemar Moore will be making his return to television in S.W.A.T. Jay Harrington and Stephanie Sigman will also star. The series is based off the 2003 feature film that starred Denzel Washington in the role that Moore will be taking over for the small screen. Jeremy Piven will be back on the small screen in Wisdom of the Crowd. The drama is about a man who creates an app to help solve his daughter’s murder.
