Is it me or has there been a major uptick in giant alligators that look fake taking strolls on golf courses? I mean we’re seeing some videos of dinosaur-like sized alligators in places like Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, you name it. What in God’s name are these beasts eating down South? Even the show Swamp People just caught an 800 lb gator a couple of episodes ago. The latest sighting?
On Monday, two very large gators were caught taking a stroll at two separate golf courses near Charleston. Instagram user @MayorJuan captured video of one of the alligators on Kiawah Island. In the video, the gator slowly makes its way across the fairway as golfers stand in the distance.
That same day, Carrie Moores, who works in the marketing department for the Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic, snapped a picture of another massive gator a few miles away during a charity golf tournament. It’s unknown if it may be the same alligator.
“It was literally a dinosaur,” she told the Post & Courier. “People said it was one of the largest ones they had ever seen.”
See? Dinosaur. I’m starting think there’s going to be an alligator uprising or something. I mean these alligators are straight out of the movie Alligator. I hope there wasn’t some huge wave of alligators flushed down the toilet in the 80s who are now plotting their revenge against mankind.
