Following her college graduation, Chante Adams knew it was time to look for her dreams to come true. She left home, she went to New York, and she did what so many young men and women did when they wanted to see their own dreams come true. Thankfully, she didn’t have to wait long. She was offered a role in a biopic only a month after she moved to the Big Apple.
5. She’s Earned Awards
The role she was offered when she moved to the city was in “Roxanne Roxanne,” and she killed it. She was so good in the role that she was given an award in 2017 at Sundance. The award is the Special Jury Prize for a Breakthrough Performance.

One thing that has fans so excited not just about her but in general is the fact that she’s on her way to becoming an Amazon star. She’s going to take part in a very amazing project called “A League of Their Own,” which, if you remember, was one of the greatest movies ever made starring the likes of Geena Davis, Tom Hanks, and even Madonna among many other very famous faces. She’s part of the television adaptation of the movie, and we cannot wait for it.

She’s currently starring in “A Journal for Jordan,” which is being directed by Denzel Washington. She’s playing the role of Dana Canedy from her own memoir that is detailing the Pulitzer Prize winner’s love affair with a First Sergeant. She kept a journal throughout, and she turned it into this story.

According to her Carnegie Mellon University Showcase profile, she’s not just an actress. She’s also a competitive cheerleader and she’s well-versed in Stage combat. She can do it all, and she’s not afraid to go out and make things happen for herself, either.
