Greenhouse Academy is a tween television series that was first aired on Netflix on September 8, 2017. The series is based on the Israeli series created by Giora Chamizer called ‘The Greenhouse’, and it has been adapted for international audiences. This series began its third season on Netflix on October 25, 2019. It is about a brother and sister who enroll in a private boarding school for gifted future leaders after their astronaut mother is killed in a rocket explosion. Ariel Mortman
Ariel Mortman plays the lead female role of Hayley Woods. Mortman is an actress who was born in New York City and is now based in Los Angeles. However, she lived in Israel for many years while growing up, where she studied at the Cameri and Nissan Nativ Acting Studios in Tel Aviv. She also served for the Israel Defense Forces. Mortman is best known for playing the lead role in ‘Northern Star’, which was a popular Disney teen series in Israel.
Finn Roberts
The lead male role of Alex Woods is played by Alex Roberts, who is an actor and assistant director. He made his acting debut in the 2013 short film ‘Nikolai’, in which he played the titular role. He then played Jason in ‘Side Effects’ from 2013 to 2014. Roberts has also had roles in ‘Shameless’, ‘Ouroboros’, ‘20th Century Woman’, and ‘Goliath’. He is playing Howie in the short film ‘The Debt’, which is in post-production.
Chris O’Neal
Playing the role of Hayley’s boyfriend Daniel is Chris O’Neal. This American actor was born in 1994, and he began his acting career in 2011. He is probably best known for his role in the 2012 Nickelodeon series ‘How to Rock’. He has also appeared in several television commercials and in a skit on Saturday Night Live. He is currently a resident of Teaneck, New Jersey.
Dallas Hart
Dallas Hart is an actor and director who plays Leo Cruz in ‘Greenhouse Academy’. This character is the leader of The Ravens and Aspen’s boyfriend. He is known for playing Will in ‘The Social Experiment’, and he also directed three episodes of this series.

Benjamin Papac
Benjamin Papc plays Max Miller, who is Jackie’s boyfriend and a member of The Ravens. He has played this role since the series began back in 2017. Papac was born in California but grew up in Georgia. His hobbies include reading, watching sci-fi films, visual arts, and tabletop games. In addition to his role in ‘Greenhouse Academy’, he is known for his roles in ‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Into the Badlands’, and ‘Saving the Human Race: Webisodes’.
BJ Mitchell
The character Parker Grant is portrayed by BJ Mitchell. Grant is Daniel’s best friend and a member of The Eagles. BJ Mitchell is this actor’s stage name, as he was born as Anthony Mitchell. He began acting at the age of just five, and he appeared in a McDonald’s commercial when he was six. In his early career, he continued to do commercial work and then got voice work with the Cartoon Network in Atlanta. Mitchell is playing Andre in the film ‘My True Fairytale’, which is currently in post-production. He is also known for his roles in ‘Mr. Student Body President’, Faking It’, and ‘Instant Mom’.
Ishai Golan
In ‘Greenhouse Academy’, Ishai Golan plays the role of Hayley and Alex’s father Carter woods. Golan is an Israeli actor and director who began his career in 1990. At the beginning of his career, he appeared in several Israeli movies and he spent some time in the military service where he was in the military theater. In the United States, he is probably best known for hosting the Fox Life series ‘Street Food Around the World’. Golan is married to Ruti, a child psychologist. They have three children together; Sofia, Sarah, and Matia. The family lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Selina Giles
The role of Alex and Hayley’s mother Ryan Woods is played by Selina Giles. This English actress is best known for playing Valerie in ‘Until Death’, which also starred Stephen Rea and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Giles also played Evey’s mother in the film ‘V for Vendetta’, which was directed by The Wachowskis. Other films in which she has appeared include ‘The Truth Game’, ‘The Thompsons’, ‘Confusion of Tongues’, and ‘Picadilly Jim’. She has also worked in theater throughout her career.
Yiftach Mizzrahi
Jason Osmond is the dean of Greenhouse Academy School and also Brooke’s older brother. This character is portrayed by Yiftach Mizzrahi. This actor began his career in 2008 when he played the role of Danny in ‘Antarctica’. The following year, he appeared as himself in the documentary ‘Undressing Israel: Gay Men in the Promised Land’. In 2009, he wrote and starred in the short film ‘Bed Stories’. The role of Jason Osmond in ‘Greenhouse Academy’ is this actor’s first major role in television.
