Young and the Restless fans know that many people get a lot more than they bargain for around here, and we think that includes Cane. He didn’t know that he would end his day with a situation that caused him to pass out and no one knows where he is. He’s not in a safe place, he’s not all right, and things are not going his way. This is not good news for anyone, and there is nothing we can do about it that will make it work for us. We think that he’s going to need a miracle to get his own life back on track right now, and we don’t know where that will come from for him. He’s got some options in his life in terms of other things that are going on, but he’s not in a good place otherwise. For now, though, we think that he can get things working in his favor.
On the flip side, the mystery that Devon unearthed is a big one. More importantly, it’s one that will take him even further from Elena. Not only is she worried for and about him, she’s sad that he is pulling away from her. She is aware of the significance of how much Amanda looks like his dead wife, and she is not lost on the fact that he is becoming even more overwhelmingly obsessed with her and all she brings to the table. We aren’t sure how much she knows about him, what she is doing here, and why she’s here, but she’s going to deal with things in her own manner. We aren’t sure she’s so trustworthy, but we also don’t know if we can see her getting her way if she’s not happy with the situation she’s currently in at the moment.

Billy is not in a good place. He knows it, even though his doctor is doing all that can be done to help him. He is in a situation in which he is going to suffer a lot if he cannot get his life in order, and he’s not quite there yet. He’s better, but he’s not good. And Victor is about to make sure that he has all the answers he needs, and he’s not going to let this young man feel good. Victor is grilling him, and this all comes after the long and very open conversation that he had with his daughter. Victoria wants to do more for the company and for the family. She’s ready to take on the power that comes with that, and she’s ready to work more closely with her father, but he’s not sure she’s emotionally available to do that with Billy holding her down. She’s assured him that she’s good, but we think he’s looking to get rid of this kid.
Billy is trying to take over the office at Jabot, currently. And that leaves him fighting with an actual child. He and Kyle are trying to outdo one another to prove they are each the right man for the job, but all we can see is that they are going out of their own way to make sure everyone knows that they are not the right men for the job and that they are nothing but overgrown man-children who need to get it together, stat. But, that’s a story for another day. Right now, just enjoy the show.
