Here’s what’s up in General Hospital land outside the actual four walls of taping the show.
Demi Moore Releases a Book
She’s decided it was time to write her memoir, and she’s done it without forgetting to mention her roots. There was a time she was not one of the most famous, most recognizable women in the entertainment industry. There was a time when she was a pretty young woman who wanted nothing more than to work in show business, and she did what she could to get there. That included auditioning for roles on the daytime circuit, and General Hospital is where she came from. She was on the show, she was good at it, and she was there to make the most of her career. She was the beautiful Jackie Templeton, and it was her first major role on television in the business. She is going to discuss this in her book, and that means it’s worth getting in line to order or buy. She’s good, and she’s not forgotten that she got her start here, and that’s what matters the most in life.
Kevin/Ryan’s New Role
He’s still here, don’t you worry about that. But, it seems that the talented Mr. Jon Lindstrom is a man of many talents as he is going out of his way to be sure he gets the job done in many other methods. He’s not only a daytime soap star with two roles on the same show — twins, if you live under a rock — but he is also a movie star. Not that you’d recognize him in his new movie, though. He plays a character, Vincent, in a new movie called A Dark Foe. He is going to play the character alongside the talented Selma Blair. He’s an FBI agent who has to deal with his own fears and his own life problems at the same time he has to deal with the other things going on in his life. He has to get through to himself to get through to the death of a former prostitute who will need him to avenge her life. We don’t yet have a date for the premier, but we will let you know when we do.
The Twins
It seems that there is going to be a long road ahead for baby Donna, who was born this week when her mother went into premature labor on the show. The twins, Ella and Emma Hulen, are the baby actors playing the role of baby Donna. This is a name chosen by the staff to honor the late Donna Messina, who was the head of hair and makeup. She passed recently, much to the sadness of those who worked with her for so many years. She is someone the cast and crew miss terribly, so the baby’s name was chosen as a nod to her and the love of all of those who miss her so much. But, these babies, so far, have a contract that doesn’t have an end date. What this says to us is that this baby will be just fine. She might not be as healthy as her onscreen parents want her to be, but she will be alive and on the show for some time now, and we can’t say how long. All we can say is that they are not going anywhere anytime soon, so this baby’s health is going to remain stable or at least improve as things work out on the show. It’s exciting news, and they are certainly sweet babies. We hope to see a lot more of them in the near future.
