Days of Our Lives fans know that many things happen for reasons unknown to us, and that is what the last week felt like. It felt like things were turning around and becoming problematic on a whole new level when Kristin showed up to make everyone miserable. She is just an awful person who makes horrible choices and does things that don’t make much sense to the rest of us. We don’t know if there is much we can do to stop the things from happening that they all consider might be in their future, but it was an interesting week. for one, we did appreciate the candidness that Xander brought to the table when he did admit that there might be a baby alive and well and being hidden somewhere no one can find her. His decision to do the right thing was one that impressed us significantly, and we do appreciate him doing that.
But, then where was the information they needed when this baby was killed and everyone was upset? It was all a plan Kristin worked on in her own time to make sure she was able to get everyone where she wanted them, and we think that it worked out well for her. However, her choices were quick to work out in everyone else’s favor as her plan went along. She’s not a woman who can consider this a win in her life, but that’s her own problem these days. We consider her situation one of desperation, but she doesn’t see it that way. She sees it her own way, and there is not a thing that will change her opinions when she’s already feeling them. Either way, though, we know there is a group of people who will eventually figure things out and they will find this baby in Chicago.

There is a lot going on right now, but the fact that Ted left a letter for Hope might be one of the most interesting things going on. We don’t always claim to know much about her and what she is living in her own personal life given that she’s always been such a private person, but we do know that Doug is there for her when the support is needed. She’s going to find that he is going to get things handled, done, and taken care of in his own life, and that’s all there is to it. He will be there for her when she begins to read the letter he left her, and he will support her when she finds out some of the many things that she never imagined she would find out. It is all too much for us, and it is all too much for them to handle, too.
But, there is more — and we know it is not good news. Julie is fighting for her life in the hospital, and there is not much that anyone can do about that in the meantime. We know that she is grossly upset and things are not always working out in her favor, but she’s going through a rough time in her life. She’s going through things that don’t mean much to anyone else but her, but she is fighting. Gabi, on the other hand, is going to learn that Vivian is alive, and Eric has to share the news about Holly and Nicole with Sarah.
