Bold and the Beautiful Characters We Think Will Return in 2019

The Bold and the Beautiful fans don’t really see many people who come and go and then come back from the dead. There isn’t much death around here. When these people leave LA, it’s not to die and end up coming back from the dead in some unbelievable situation we didn’t see coming. It’s to go move to Paris to work. Or to New York to work. Or to some other amazing city to live, work and play, and there is little that anyone can do that doesn’t make much sense. We do know that there are some people who have been gone a while who might not make a big comeback for a long time, but we also know that there are a few people who have been gone who might just come back sooner rather than later. Let’s get to finding out who is coming back at some point in 2019.

Steffy

Oh, she’s coming back. We knew she would because she did not make an announcement that she was leaving the show for good following the birth of her first child, but she did make a point to say she was coming back. And she did just take home a huge new win a the Emmy’s, so she might want to come back and finish out her role as Steffy. She’s in Paris right now. She’s got her daughters with her. Both the one she gave birth to with Liam, and the little girl she adopted from Flo. She might not know why this young woman insists on sticking around LA and being around the baby that Steffy has now, and she might worry that she will try and get her baby back if she has to spend any time with her. And, she might, considering she just learned she is a Forrester. But, she will be back. And we think that she will be back a lot sooner than we thought, too. She’s got some work to do in her own life, and she’s not about to let anyone else do it for her.

Rick

We aren’t sure about him like we are for so many other things, but we suspect he will be back. There is no official word that he is leaving the show for good, so he might just come back to raise a little hell and make some moves. He’s been a man who has had many things to let go in his life recently. His wife left him with the baby he had with her sister — with her consent, of course. And now they are divorcing. He is not happy about, if we had to guess. She seemed resigned to the fact when she came home and announced that her marriage was over and that she would not be going back to Paris to be with her husband. Nor would she continue to refer to him as such, either. There is nothing about this situation that seems to work, and we don’t get that.

Reese

We know that he has to come back at some point. He did, after all, steal Hope’s baby and replace her with a dead baby, sell her baby to Steffy, and pretend that Flo was the baby’s birth mother. There is nothing about this that means he gets to walk away and just be there to make his life feel good again. He might not be a bad guy, but he’s not a good one, either. He did steal a baby and sell her so that he could pay his debts, but he did it to keep his own daughter alive. Do we agree with that? No, we don’t agree with any of this. But, we can see where he was going and what he was trying to do, and how he was trying to do it. And, we can see that he clearly has more issues than he doesn’t, and we can see that he has to come back and either pay for this, make it right, or figure out how to blame it on someone else so that he can get out of trouble. There’s a lot happening here.
