Days of Our Lives fans are all ready for the new week, but not without first remembering what happened in the last week. It was an exciting one with Abigail and Chad working on their relationship. They are trying to make it work after all they’ve been through over the past year, and they’re doing a good job. She’s still not sure things will work for her in the long run, but the sacrifices that Chad is making work for her in a way that she cannot express. Gabi, on the other hand, is not excited about things. She’s working on Gabi Chic, but she’s got and enemy in Stefan, and they’ve made it clear to one another that they will get revenge on the other.
Leo’s mom is in town, and she’s not all that amused. There are more than a few people looking to take him down, but they want to have her help in making that happen. We don’t know that they can do this, however. Kate has a serious agenda, but she’s always someone who works much closer to the vest than anyone else we know. She doesn’t put things out there like other people do. And then there is Jennifer. She’s still upset that things are not working in her favor with her newly returned husband. After thinking he was gone all these years, he’s not. He’s alive and well, but he has no idea who she is or who their adult children are. She’s crushed, and Eve is doing all she can to use that against Jennifer on a daily basis. It’s been hard on her, but she is looking for a way to make it all go away. Kayla didn’t have good news to share with her friend, but we can expect to see that change in the near future if we can use Will’s recent situation as an example of what might happen.

It turns out that things with Ben might not be good for Ciara in more ways than one. Not only does her mother not want to see her daughter with this man, but it turns out that there is a connection to him and her captivity. She’s going to see his very own sister in the cabin with her while she’s being held hostage, and that will shock her. The sister hasn’t been around in a long time — because who wants to be around when their brother is a serial killer who makes poor choices? She’s not going to find a way out of here until Ben can find her and make sure she goes free, but what will he find about his own sister being in there for the time being? There is really very little that might go with this, and it’s not going to end well for anyone.
We are struggling to figure out what they will do when they find one another again, but until then — we have to figure out what to do when they find things aren’t working in their favor. He will definitely have some feelings about all of this and what it means to his family to have his sister there, and Ciara is not going to be happy about anything in her life as it all begins to unfold for her. Life is not going the way she feels it should at the moment, and that’s something we cannot help.
