The Best Young and the Restless Couples of 2018

Young and the Restless fans saw more than their fair share of couples work out, not work out, kind of work out, and basically fall apart in 2018. We weren’t sure who was together and who wasn’t, what was going on, and what wasn’t. And that’s a big year for the show. But we think that we can see things happen for some couples if they are able to get it together long enough to make it work, but that’s not all we can say about things. We can say, however, that there are a few couples who managed to spend some time together in 2018 who were just our favorites. We don’t know about you, but these were our most beloved couples of the year whether things worked out or not. We loved them, and we think that you might love them, too.

Devon and Hilary

Hands down, they were the best couple of the year on the show. They came together in a way we might not have loved, but they did it with ease. She basically worked hard to mess up his sister’s life, which is not always the best way to start a new relationship, and Lily spent the year trying to take her down. Taking her life was not part of her plan, but that’s how it worked out for her. It was sad, but seeing them work to have a baby, then get pregnant, then watching Devon as he worked so hard to romance her in every single manner was so good for us. And then seeing them together when she was in the accident and their baby was lost was the sweetest and most heartbreaking thing we’ve ever seen. We loved it, but watching them get married despite the fact that she was dying and he knew it was touching. He’s missing her in a way that kills us, and we hated to watch her die.

Abby and Arturo

We have to admit that they were not our favorite. We did not love them at first, and we were not all that happy with the way their lives were going. However, we were quite happy with the way that things did work out for them in the end. They may not have been the best couple or the most engaging couple or anything like that in any way, but we were sure that they would work things out and make it last for them. We did think that there was a good chance they could get their lives together, that they could make it work for themselves, and that they could get it to manage itself in some way, but we aren’t entirely sure that works out for them in any capacity. They may not make it any longer than they are now, but we think that they have a chance to get their lives together so that they can work on things. They are happier than they’ve been, and they are taking things a bit slowly at first. This might make a difference, and we are all right with that in every single situation we can find.

Nick and Phyllis

We aren’t entirely certain that they even count as a real couple, but we like them together. We like that they have this power with one another and that they seem to have a great time in the privacy of their own home. They are working well together, and we like it. She’s still hung up on Billy, which we do not get in any way, but he is also a bit still into Sharon. They are a great couple, too, but we like him with Phyllis. They seem to bring out this kind of powerful nature in one another, and that’s fun to watch. She’s always been a go-getter, but he appears to be blossoming into someone more powerful and less of a pain this year as he’s spending more time with her. She’s been a great influence on him, and we have to admit that we like it all day long. It’s been fun and enjoyable, and we’ve definitely enjoyed it for them.
