Young and the Restless fans are always sad when someone leaves the show, but it’s especially sad when it all turns out to be because of death. There have been so many people who have come to the show, captured our hearts, and then been ripped from us like it’s not a problem at all. And we hate that. But we also know that there are times when it’s not always the end of the end. Even when someone dies around here, it never really means they’re entirely dead. Sometimes people die and then come right back in no time at all. We just don’t know what might happen, but we do have some characters we miss more than we miss others, and we’d love to see them come back again. Which of the Young and the Restless’ dead characters would you like to see come back from the dead? Here are the ones we’d like to see come back.
Hilary
Now we do have to say that we aren’t entirely sure how this one would go, but we do know that there is a chance it could happen. She did die right in front of us after she suffered from terrible injuries at the hand of her sister-in-law’s careless driving. They were in the middle of a fight in the car when Lily ran a red light, a car struck them, and Hilary and her unborn baby both ended up dying from their injuries. Hilary’s death shook everyone to the absolute core because of it, but we also know that there is a lot that could happen around here that will bring her back.
Devon has lost his mind. He’s beside himself, he’s making poor decisions, and he’s not sure how to cope with his loss. Lily is in jail, and her family is devastated by all of this. Their lives were turned upside down more than they’ve ever been in the past, and we don’t know how to fix that one. But, we do know that there is always a chance someone can come back and make this feel all right for us. We don’t know that she could come back after her particular death, but we also don’t want to say things like never say never.
Adam Newman
Can we stop for a moment and talk about how his death was left so open-ended? There is always a chance he can come back. Not that we even think there is a small chance that Justin Hartley would come back and take on this role now that he is a major superstar of his own accord. He’s a primetime actor in one of the hottest series’ of the decade, and he’s not leaving that to come back to daytime television. The “This is Us” star is not likely to come back to daytime, but that doesn’t mean his character won’t eventually make a comeback. He died in an explosion, which we know is always code for “he escaped and is living his life elsewhere because he had to fake his death to make things right in the world he was living in and created on his own,” and that’s all.
But, he could come back sooner than we think. We’ve been hearing rumors for over a year now that there is a chance he might come back. While that confirms nothing, of course, it does tell us that someone must be talking about it to get all these other people talking about it, right? We don’t know for certain, but we do think there’s a chance.
Sabrina
We think there is a good chance that this could happen one day. What would be more fun than to see Victoria’s somewhat favorite ex-friend from the past show up and make a move on the people she loves yet again? She’s good at that, and she’s made it her mission in life to make sure she’s been able to take them all down. She and Vickie were such good friends for the short time she was part of the show before her death in 2009, but then she began sleeping with Vickie’s father and Nikki’s husband. And then it got ugly. So, obviously, it would be fun to see her back.
