General Hospital fans are shocked by so many of the things that are happening this week. For one, we saw Nelle go into labor, and we also saw that Brad and Lucas lose their baby. The baby died, and it’s been a terrible situation for them. They’ve wanted nothing more than to be dads to a baby for so long, and finding out that their child died was a horrible moment for them. They were crushed, and we were crushed for them. But now is not the time for us to focus on that. For now, we need to focus on the fact that these two have a lot more to offer than they think they do. We know they have so much to give, but we also know that they have to be there for themselves.
And we were shocked when Nelle very casually offered to give her baby to them. She doesn’t do nice things. It’s not like we are shocked she has no real interest in being a mother, or that she realizes Michael is not going to marry her at this point, but we can’t help but wonder what she wants from them in return. Will they take the baby? Will the be all right with the way things are playing? Will they even want a baby that has her very evil DNA in its blood or do they think the way they raise the baby will make it a good person more than its DNA? Sonny is also reunited with his wife, and it feels so good. They are happier than they’ve been in a long time now that they are together again, and we are happy to report that we think things will only improve for them at this point. Will this work?

It turns out the gorgeous and the talented Donna Mills is set to make a major comeback, and we could not be more excited about every second of it. We know fans have long since loved her in all her work, and to see her back on the screen is going to be a shiny bright spot in all the tragedy that’s gone on this year on the show. Now, if only we could find out the truth about the baby switch we suspect.

Carly has a lot of doubt about the way things are going, but she’s going to keep her head up and hope for the best. She’s upset that things still aren’t going the way they want them to go, but she’s so happy to be free for the moment. She’s not in a place where she wants to rock the boat too much, but she’s also in a place where she wants to be there for the people who need her the most, which are her kids and her husband. And she’s going to get this situation under control no matter what it takes of her. She’s done playing games, and she’s done worrying about her future. She’s ready to take this bull by the horns and figure things out in a way that works for her rather than for others. She’s done.
Joss is upset. She’s got the worst in her mind, and she’s not looking to have anything else to say about it. She’s worried more than she can ever imagine, and she’s not sure what is happening in her life. She’s thought for so long that Nelle is wonderful, and now she sees that this is not the truth. She’s not sure what is going to happen to her brother and her mother, and things are not working out for her at all. We aren’t sure what is going to happen now, but Joss is going to be greatly affected by the way things are going in her life. It’s going to upset her more than it doesn’t, but she will get through this.
