Matt Lanter seems like the kind of laid back individual that you’d want to hang out and do just about anything with since he seems to have wide array of interests. As an actor he’s definitely the type that gets into his work and has only a few options of what he might be doing if he wasn’t in show business. One option seems to be working for the Atlanta Braves since he’s a bit of a baseball fan. I did say ‘working’, not playing. But a job is a job and since he loves what he does he has no intentions of going anywhere to be honest. Right now he’s loving life and getting to do what he wants for the most part so it seems as though he might have the ideal life, at least when everything is going right just like anyone.

10. He was a batboy for the Atlanta Braves.
This seems like it would have been a dream come true for any sports enthusiast since you get to be right there by the field and are able to watch the game in person. Think about how awesome this would be for anyone that’s even mildly entertained by baseball. For a real fan this would be absolutely intense, and for someone that got to interact with the team it’d be even better.
9. He’s a big fan of Top Gun.
A lot of people are, and the fact that the sequel is coming out eventually has to have him stoked since a lot of fans have been making their case for this movie for years. Whether it’s any good doesn’t seem to matter to some folks, it’s the simple matter that it’s coming.
8. He was a model before becoming an actor.
He has the looks that’s for sure. It seems though that a lot of actors have come from modeling, though there are still thousands upon thousands of models out there that don’t get selected. Well to be honest you have to be able to do more than just strut down a catwalk.
7. He was cast for the role of Anakin Skywalker in The Clone Wars animated series.
He got the part of Anakin just two days after auditioning and managed to lend his voice to a part that is absolutely integral to the series since Anakin is one of the most important characters. Just watching him walk down the road towards the dark side is impressive since it takes a lot of emotion even from a voice actor to make it work.
6. He enjoys being outdoors.
Matt has a wide range of hobbies that he likes to engage in and would much rather be outdoors than in most days as he enjoys stretching his legs and getting a good deal of exercise so that he can maintain a healthy lifestyle.
5. He loves to build tree forts.
This might seem a little odd but it shouldn’t. There are plenty of adults that still like the idea of building tree forts and have come up with some truly impressive designs. It would be a huge advantage for any kid to have a parent that loved to build tree forts.
4. He’s a big sci-fi geek.
This could be why he auditioned for The Clone Wars in the first place, as you don’t need to be a lover of sci-fi in order to participate in something like Star Wars, but it certainly helps since you can get into it just a bit more.
3. He’s really big into gadgets.
Some people just love gadgets of all shapes and sizes since they like to know how things work and will actually spend hours on them figuring out their purpose and how each individual piece makes the whole thing run.
2. He doesn’t like the idea of religion.
This is something that tends to rub a lot of people the wrong way but when you look at it the idea of religion is, for some, a very stable and needed set of rules that allows them to worship as they will and follow the tenets laid down by their faith so that they can be comfortable in their own skin and believe that they are in fact doing God’s will and will one day be rewarded. But Matt, and others, feel that organized religion is simply too stodgy and carries way too many rules that a lot of people don’t even follow in the modern age. Seriously, has anyone read the rules of many religious sects from back in the day?
1. He’s a big fan of Modern Family.
People either love or hate this show to be honest and it’s drawn a lot of comments throughout the years concerning its content. But to be honest it’s pretty funny even if it’s not always realistic.
